- Registration fee covers instruction, educational sessions and guidance on September 18 - 21, 2025. Arrival is 3pm on the 18th and departure is 10-11am on the 21st.
- If spouses are attending, they need to register.
Lodging
There are motels, cabins and AirBnBs nearby Seney and Germfask, or a bit further away in Curtis. I will be holding our educational sessions at the Germfask Twp. Hall in Germfask.
Sample itinerary
We will be photographing the magnificent very dark night skies over Seney National Wildlife Refuge. This is the time of year that the Milky Way is visible as soon as it is dark enough.Hopefully we will get a favorable aurora forecast and have a chance to photograph the ever elusive northern lights as well. Nights start to cool off, and this can provide for some wonderful sunrise opportunities with the morning fog and dew (dewy spider webs galore) at Seney.
For any birders out there, we will tour the refuge as well during the day. Last year, our birder enthusiasts were fortunate to spot some white pelicans! You never know what you might see at Seney.
A complete itinerary will be sent out upon registration.
Cancellation policy
By registering for this workshop, you agree to the cancellation policy as stated below:
Cancellation policy: 100% of registration fee will be refunded (minus $75 administrative fee) if cancellation notification is received by August 15th, 2025, by contacting me directly through contact instructions on your registration confirmation.
After that, no refunds will be issued for any reason unless the spot can be filled. You may want to consider trip insurance to protect your investment in case of cancellation after August 15.
This workshop will not be cancelled due to weather. I have no control over the weather, and we will adjust the itinerary if necessary to include more daytime scenic landscape photography should the forecast be uncooperative.
If the workshop needs to be cancelled by me due to unforeseen circumstances, 100% of the workshop fee will be refunded.
There needs to be a minimum of 5 participants registered for this workshop. In the event this minimum is not met, the workshop will be cancelled and your entire registration fee refunded.
